Synopsis This subject aims to demonstrate the effect on individuals of occupational and environmental disease and to demonstrate methods of rehabilitation, assessment of fitness for work and health promotion. It covers impairment, disability and handicap, rehabilitation programs and policies, rehabilitation plans, health assessment for work, disability discrimination and equal employment opportunity legislation, employee assistance programs, and workplace and community health promotion.
