A bursary of $800 is awarded to the student or students with the highest results following the completion of a multiple-choice question paper set by the Medical Defence Union. This bursary is awarded to assist students with their elective term in the fifth year of the MB BS course.
A memorial medal to the fourth-year student with the highest aggregate of marks in `Psychological medicine'.
A prize of $200 to the fourth-year medical student who demonstrates the highest ability in the clinical subjects of `Medicine' and `Surgery' as determined by the results of a separate clinical examination.
A prize of $200 to the fourth-year student who obtains the highest marks in the communication skills component of the fourth year of the MB BS degree.
A prize of a plaque and a medical publication to the value of $150 to the fourth-year student who obtains the highest aggregate of marks in fourth-year `Clinical studies'.
A prize of a medal to the student who demonstrates the highest ability in pathology, determined by the highest mark in the pathology component of the fourth-year laboratory exam, or the most deserving student as determined by the head of department.
A prize to the fourth-year student who achieves the highest mark in the microbiology component of the fourth-year laboratory exam.
