Objectives The student is expected to develop interest in designing, constructing and testing instrumentation systems in order to verify and demonstrate the required specifications. The student is expected to develop skills in the ability to plan, meet deadlines and give a seminar for his/her project.
Synopsis Study of instrumentation systems including automated measurement systems, measurement techniques, circuit design for instrumentation systems (including transducers, etc) and computer-aided instrumentation. Design and evaluation of an instrumentation system for a specific application.
Assessment Examination: 50%
