Objectives On completion of this subject the student should understand the lifecycle models used for interface development; understand and be able to apply a range of behavioural and constructional modelling techniques; and be able to implement a graphical user interface using a tool kit.

Synopsis Students will develop an understanding of the issues involved in user interface design, be aware of the tools available for user interface development and be able to design and implement a user interface to a given specification.
