Objectives The student is expected to develop an understanding of the law, aspects of law and procedure, organisational behaviour, role and techniques of people management, industrial relations principles and practices, and quality assurance concepts and their relationship to civil engineering.
Synopsis Professionalism, civil engineering and the law, contracts and specifications, quality, organisational behaviour, human resource management, industrial relations.
Assessment Examination: (2 hours): 60% * Assignment: 30% * Case studies: 10%
