Objectives The student is expected to acquire a further knowledge and understanding of the theories of heat and mass transfer and their application to chemical engineering unit operations.
Synopsis Topics to be selected from drying, adsorption and ion exchange; reverse osmosis; ultra filtration; multi-component, azeotropic, extractive and steam distillation; advanced modelling of unit operations.
