Objectives To provide a thorough understanding of operating system concepts. Main-frame and PC environments, their tools, facilities and usages.
Synopsis Operating systems concepts for both single-user and multi-user environments. Multi-tasking systems concepts. Process management, memory management, security and file systems. Systems to be covered may include UNIX, DOS, OS/2, Windows, Windows 95 and Windows NT.
