Objectives The student is expected to acquire an understanding of groundwater as a resource and to develop the skills required to analyse the options for its management.
Synopsis Aquifers; groundwater hydraulics, pump tests, water table control; groundwater development, management; mathematical modelling; groundwater quality and contamination.
Assessment Written (2000 words): 20% * Examinations (2 hours): 50% * Practical work: 30%
