Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should have developed knowledge and understandings about themselves as learners and the factors that influence learning; different learning models; communication skills; intelligence theory, Piaget's theory of cognitive development, metacognition, personality, discipline and assessment.
Synopsis This subject is concerned with psychological principles and concepts and how they apply to teaching and learning. There is a strong emphasis on tutorial discussions, workshop activities and oral presentations.
