Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should be prepared to teach visual arts subjects (Years 7 to 12) with special attention to the areas of aesthetics and criticism, and art theory and history.
Synopsis This subject is designed to prepare teachers to teach in the visual arts subjects at post-primary levels (Years 7-10), and VCE (Years 11-12) arts programs. This subject presents recent art with special attention to the content of an inclusive curriculum in visual art.
