Objectives At the completion of this subject students should understand the general concepts of multimedia computing; appreciate the scope of its applicability in the business environment; have acquired an acceptable level of proficiency in the use of state-of-the-art tools and techniques for the creation of multimedia computing applications in business; and be aware of the future directions in multimedia computing technology.
Synopsis This subject is to provide students with foundation knowledge of multimedia computing technology which they can build upon and develop further in their careers.
Assessment Written assignment: 10%
* Group assignment: 30%

Examination (2 hours): 60%
