General

The aim of this course is to provide a graduate level introductory course in logistics management for non graduates who have appropriate business experience and responsibility. The course investigates the central role of supply chain management in an organisation and the integration of the various logistics functions in order to reduce business costs and add value to the customer; the connection between logistics management and marketing strategy is also covered. The course will provide an avenue for prospective non-degree, mature aged students to obtain or upgrade business knowledge and skills at graduate level.

Duration

The course is offered at the Peninsula campus in four intensive one-week study modules normally over two semesters of part-time study.

Course structure

The course consists of four subjects selected from Graduate Diploma in Logistic Management subjects. Normally, these will be completed at a rate of two subjects in each of two successive semesters. Mid-year enrolment is permitted and encouraged.
