Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Engineering BCom/BE

Course code: 1204 (Chemical), 1205 (Civil), 1376 (Electrical and Computer Systems), 1206 (Materials), or 1207 (Mechanical)

The following should be read in conjunction with the statement on the Bachelor of Commerce and the Bachelor of Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering handbook.

The double degree course is offered with chemical, civil, electrical and computer systems, materials and mechanical engineering. These degrees can be completed after a minimum of five years full-time study, or the equivalent part-time study. To complete the requirements for the commerce degree students must undertake:

A significant number of places in this combination is reserved for students wishing to transfer from either of the single degrees after first year. Existing students interested in applying for this combination in 1997 are advised to collect a course information sheet from their faculty office and to complete an internal transfer form.
