Objectives On completion of this subject, students should be aware of the factors influencing the international trade in agribusiness products; the impact of bilateral and multilateral agreements on the actions of firms and industries; factors such as exchange rates on the performance of agricultural firms and industries; and understand the application of marketing principles and practice to the development of international market opportunities for agricultural products and services.
Synopsis Topics include economic problems in agriculture; the impact of agricultural policy on agribusiness; roles and responsibilities of participants in development of international markets for agribusiness; future alternatives for international trade; risk management in international business.
