Objectives On completion of this subject students will be able to prepare a model and problem statement for a research proposal; evaluate the suitability of alternative business research methods for specific problems in marketing research; operationalise a research problem using no data, qualitative and quantitative solutions.
Synopsis An in depth introduction to the critical thinking and planning required in the initial stages of a thesis or research project.
Assessment Literature review: 30%
* Model and problem statement: 20%
* Theoretical project: 20%
* Examination (2 hours): 30%.
