Objectives On completion of this subject students should understand the systems nature of farming and natural ecosystems; understand the scientific and technological basis of agriculture; have developed operational skills in selected farm enterprises.
Synopsis Agricultural productions as a biological process. Composition and structure of soils, plant and animal systems, interactions between soils, plant and animals and how these affect the efficiency of agricultural production systems. This subject makes extensive use of the farm enterprises at VCAH Dookie.
