Course structure and sequence

A candidate for the double degree must fulfil the following requirements to receive the awards of Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Arts (Journalism):

(a) complete a total of 192 but not more than 216 points;

(b) complete the prescribed journalism sequence (fifty-two points) and the prescribed communications sequence (thirty-eight points) offered by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

(c) complete at least one major sequence (thirty-six points) and the prescribed compulsory subjects (eighteen points) offered by the School of Applied Science;

(d) undertake additional prescribed studies to complete the 192 points needed for the degrees.
