Objectives On successful completion of this subject students should have a broad grasp of the nature of the discipline; a developed sense of the research, writing structure, and presentation of the Honours Thesis; a sophisticated sense of the questions which can inform their research.
Synopsis This seminar is required for all final-year honours students. It comprises a series of two-hour seminars in first semester dealing primarily with the research and writing of the honours thesis, along with discussion of the nature of the discipline of politics. The general paper required of all honours candidates will be taken at the end of the year.
