completion of a minor sequence in politics
Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject students are expected to (a) have acquired skills relevant to the conduct and presentation of political science research; and (b) understand key debates and the methodological concerns of the discipline of political science.
Synopsis The supervised preparation and presentation of a research paper on an approved topic. Attendance at regular seminars on research techniques and political science methodology.
Assessment Seminar presentation: 20%
