Objectives Upon successful completion of the subject students should have a basic knowledge of the history, style and context of a selected genre and a framework in which to identify, categorise and assess and write about it.
Synopsis A study in depth of a particular topic in music.
Assessment Written (5000 words): 70%
* Examination (1 hour): 30%.
