Objectives A student completing this subject should have acquired a detailed knowledge of one aspect of European culture, politics, economics or society, and be able to place this knowledge in a wider European context.
Synopsis This subject enables students to take one of the following MA subjects in European studies (subject to availability): Modern Europe: a regional study; International business; Europe today; Interpreting East and Central Europe; Australia and Europe; The left in postwar Europe: democracy, dictatorship and disorder.
