Objectives The students will be able to apply appropriate robust and nonparametric procedures to a variety of situations where the classical parametric methods are either inappropriate or inefficient.
Synopsis This subject covers methods and procedures of statistical inference which are appropriate when the data cannot be regarded as approximately normal.
Assessment Three assignments: 30%
* Examination (1.5 hours): 70%
