Objectives To develop the skills required to design, implement and analyse the results of a sample survey.
Synopsis Overview of sample designs including simple random sampling, systematic sampling, stratified sampling, and cluster sampling for means, totals and proportions. Questionnaire and survey design; practical problems.
Assessment Three assignments: 30%
* Examination (1.5 hours): 70%
