Prerequisite: Admission to honours in Chinese
Objectives To deepen students understanding of China, to improve Chinese language capabilities, and to strengthen research skills.
Synopsis The seminar has two key purposes: to examine a number of topics in Chinese studies and to train students in research and writing skills. Students learn to read critically and prepare research papers.
