Prerequisites: A pass in CHI2220 or equivalent
Objectives This subject seeks to enable students to gain fluency in both spoken and written skills for everyday purposes. It builds upon and consolidates the work completed in `Intermediate Chinese'.
Synopsis Advanced intermediate spoken and written standard Chinese including the reading of some authentic texts and study of video materials.
Assessment Short exercises and compositions: 25%

examinations (3 hours): 40%
* Oral examination: 20%
* Continuous
assessment and verbal skills: 15%
