Objectives This subject seeks to enable students to gain fluency in both spoken and written skills for everyday purposes. It builds upon and consolidates the work completed in CHI1310 (Advanced intermediate Chinese, part 1).
Synopsis Advanced intermediate spoken and written standard Chinese including the reading of some authentic texts and study of video materials.
Assessment Short exercises and compositions: 25%
* Written
examinations (3 hours): 40%
* Oral examination: 20%
* Continuous
assessment of verbal skills: 15%
