Prerequisites: CAM1110 or equivalent skills
Objectives The aim of this subject is to have students further develop, on the basis of their first semester work in CAM1110, the ability in speaking and listening to satisfy all survival needs, such as describing things simply, comparing, asking and talking about family, wishes and ability, requesting, agreeing and refusing, and asking and talking about past and future events. In reading, they should continue, in romanisation, to be able to read anything they can say, and in Cambodian script, they should be able to recognise about thirty letters and read simple texts involving combinations of these. In writing, in romanisation, they should be able to write any sentence that they can produce orally. In Cambodian script they will be able to write anything they can read in the script.

Assessment Examinations (2 hours): 70%
