Objectives This subject builds upon the skills and knowledge gained in GRN2055.
Synopsis A reading course which introduces students to a variety of German literary texts and discourse forms, primarily from the postwar period. The texts are arranged thematically under the headings `conflict', `being different' and `East and West Germany'.
Assessment Written (1500 words): 40%
* Examination (2 hours): 60%
