The objectives of the MA in politics by coursework are:
to enable students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of
politics by engaging with literatures and taking part in seminar work at an
advanced level;
to enable students who wish to do so to undertake intensive coursework at
an advanced level in a particular area of politics (eg Australian politics,
political theory, or Asian and regional politics), thereby acquiring
specialised knowledge and understanding of that area.
