The Master of Arts (Communications) by coursework is designed to introduce students to the communications industry and related policy issues in Australia, past, present and future. Upon completion of the course students should have an overview of the present state of the industry, an appreciation of its historical background, and an understanding of the complexity of its future.
The Master of Arts (Communications) by coursework and research thesis is designed to introduce students to the communications industry and related policy issues in Australia, past, present and future. Upon completion of the course students should have an overview of the present state of the industry, an appreciation of its historical background, an understanding of the complexity of its future, and be able to undertake complex research at both a macro and micro level and apply this knowledge to their current or future employment in the industry.
