Prerequisites: INM4320/5320
Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should have developed a basic understanding of the nature of learning different styles of the Indonesian language and their special purposes. With their newly acquired technical and special vocabulary, they should be able to put into practice that knowledge to communicate in a range of situations which require special styles.
Synopsis Attention is focused on the use of Indonesian in particular specialised areas such as journalism, business and law. Model translations are made and oral presentations are given.
Assessment Written (2000 words): 60%
