Objectives Students successfully completing this subject should be able to understand university lectures given in Japanese on non-specialist topics; comprehend TV programs of various genres and discuss issues raised in the program; recognise 1,945 jooyoo kanji and read a wide range of texts written for a Japanese audience using monolingual dictionaries.
Synopsis This subject is designed for those who want to continue language study at the postgraduate level. The subject covers the full year.
