Prerequisites: Japanese 4 part 2 or equivalent
Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to comprehend written Japanese presented in a journalistic style; able to comprehend Japanese television programs; able to read authentic materials selected from Japanese books and newspapers.
Synopsis This is a very advanced level of spoken and written Japanese which is designed to bring the student close to the level of semi-native competence in the language.
