Prerequisite: JLG4210 or equivalent
Objectives Students successfully completing this subject should be able to express opinions and conjecture; report the words of others; give and ask advice using the conditional form; use the causative and passive causative forms of verbs; use vocabulary and expressions relevant to renting an apartment; describe physical symptoms; use the vocabulary and expressions required in a job interview; use the honorific forms of common verbs; read and reply to formal invitations written in Japanese; read graphs and statistics written in Japanese and recognise an additional 170 kanji (in total 470).
Synopsis This subject is designed to continue on from JLG4210. An off-campus option is available.
Assessment Mid-semester test (1 hour): 25%ù Final examination (2
hours): 35%
