Students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Japanese studies should acquire an accurate and up-to-date understanding of Japan with a special emphasis on Australia-Japan relations.
Students will develop research skills through the completion of research projects and in-depth essays which are a part of most coursework subjects, as well as acquiring advanced knowledge of several areas of Japanese society, culture, work practices and the economy.
