Upon successful completion of this course, students should have demonstrated their ability to undertake critical analysis of a range of sources, to develop a coherent historical argument and to arrive at clear conclusions based on a range of evidence. They should have further developed their ability to present their ideas cogently, in clear prose and at high standards of presentation. They should also develop advanced conceptual skills in public history and have the ability to apply them, and acquire an understanding of key methodological issues and practices in the fields of public history.
