The Centre for Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies aims to provide an environment in which students can develop their own research interests.
On completing their course students should be able to show their acquaintance with extensive readings in their field; demonstrate that they can originate and pursue research projects independently; discuss effectively and defend appropriately their ideas, both orally and in writing; display a wide understanding of academic, self-reflexive and intellectual processes and students will have completed in their thesis a significant and original contribution to knowledge in the area in which they were working.
