Part I of the degree of Master of Arts by research and coursework consists of four twelve-point coursework subjects. Part II consists of two eight-point coursework subjects and a research thesis not exceeding 35,000 words (worth 66 per cent of the year's work). All MA coursework subjects are offered subject to sufficient student numbers.
Subjects for this course are taught by the Centre for Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies or are taught by other departments and made available to students under a centre code.
