Course structure

Candidates undertake six subjects to the value of forty-eight points.

Core subjects

All students must undertake the five core subjects:

• FLF4300.08 Australian folk culture: a multicultural perspective
• FLF4310.08 Cultural mapping and oral history: methodologies for community study
• FLF4320.08 Popular and vernacular culture in Australia
• MCM4001.08 Material culture: theory and practice
• ATD4140.08 Cultural tourism

All students must choose one fourth year subject offered by the Faculty of Arts at eight-point level and considered to be relevant/appropriate to the overall course.
