This two year part-time distance education course will provide continuing professional education for those working in the field of family practice. It aims to provide social welfare professionals with a critical understanding of the relationship between family and the social conditions impacting on families and individuals. It will equip professionals with the knowledge, values and skills to perform competently in this complex field.
