Objectives By the completion of this subject students are expected to have begun to explore the investigation of ideas prominent in their major studies, expressed through a ceramic medium; realised the need for technical understanding of the medium; developed disciplined work habits; and developed safe working procedures.
Synopsis This subject aims to build on the experiences of GVA1003 (Foundation 3D), encouraging artistic fluency in the medium of clay, and building the appropriate skills to achieve aesthetic goals.
Assessment Studio participation: 20% * Set projects: 20% * Final show of work: 60%
