Computer-aided design

Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should have skills in the use of design packages, especially `Corel Draw' and `Paint Brush'; sense of the appropriateness or otherwise of computer-aided techniques for given projects; a critical awareness of the practical strengths and visual pitfalls of computer-aided design.

Synopsis Students attend supervised sessions, initially directed entirely by the supervisor but moving, by degrees, to the independence of students in deciding what kinds of drawing and design tasks they want to pursue with digital technology.
