6 points + Second semester + Gippsland/Distance + Prerequisites: GHS7640, GHS7642, GHS7740, GHS7742, GHS7741.

Objectives It is anticipated that students will, upon completion of this subject, have gained experience in formulating a community health nursing project; using initiative and independent problem solving learning skills; utilising interpersonal skills and available resources to implement a community health nursing project; producing a scholarly report of the project.

Synopsis This subject is offered to students in recognition of the need for students to develop creative approaches in community health with a primary health care focus through an engagement with practice. It aims to provide an opportunity for students to contract, to investigate and/or develop an area of particular interest or relevance to community health of their choice.

Assessment Determined by the subject adviser on the basis of the type of project undertaken
