Synopsis The aim is to convey the broad constraints and driving factors for occupational health practice. At the end of this subject, students will be broadly aware of the legislative and organisational basis of occupational health, particularly in Victoria, but taking account of Australia-wide and international conventions. They will also know the usual roles, functions and responsibilities of occupational health practitioners in their provision of services and the industrial relations and equal opportunity context in which these services are provided.
