Objectives To develop the ability to review and gain insight into a broadly based topic through study of the literature and to present the conclusions in a concise, coherent manner.
Synopsis Guided reading on an agreed geotechnical topic with either an engineering or geological emphasis. The topic should be broadly based, rather than scientifically specific and relate some aspect or aspects of geotechnology to practice and social impact.
