Students may select any of the seven streams, but only the Design stream will be timetabled to accommodate the subjects in the double degree program. If another stream is selected, it will be the responsibility of the student to accommodate any consequent timetable clashes. Requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering The student requires 188 credit points for the Bachelor of Engineering degree, of which not less than 162 credit points must be obtained in subjects prescribed by this subject list which are also listed in the course in mechanical engineering in subject list I.
