4 points + 52 hours project work + First semester + Caulfield + Prerequisite: ENC3442 + Corequisite: At least 12 credit points in other level-4 subjects

Objectives As a result of this project, students should have applied their theoretical knowledge of engineering to developing a design or solving a suitable problem, should have developed essential planning and project management skills and professional written and oral communication skills.

Synopsis The students will undertake to design and develop a new product or solve a worthwhile industrial problem or undertake an appropriate research project.

Assessment Only interim assessment will be carried out in semester 1 - major assessment will be deferred until ENC4442.
