Objectives The student is expected to gain knowledge of and skills in leading technologies in the field of biomedical engineering as a separate discipline within electrical engineering with the emphasis on electronic and computer applications in medicine and biology.
Synopsis Topics selected from various areas of biomedical engineering including electronic devices in medicine and biology, biomedical instrumentation, measurements, medical imaging and therapeutic and prosthetic devices.
Assessment Examination: 50% + Practical work and assignments: 50%
