Nuclear imaging

Objectives The student is expected to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the techniques and technology used in nuclear imaging.

Synopsis This subject introduces the theory, application and hardware of modern nuclear medicine. The subject will include an exposure to a range of nuclear medicine equipment, dealing with issues such as acquisition, understanding of clinical application, radiation dosage, imaging techniques and associated signal processing.
