Groundwater hydrology

6 points + 3 hours per week + First semester + Clayton + Prerequisites:
CIV3263 or equivalent
Objectives The student is expected to acquire an understanding of
groundwater as a resource and to develop the skills required to analyse the
options for its management.
Synopsis Aquifers; groundwater hydraulics, pump tests, water table
control; groundwater development, management; mathematical modelling;
groundwater quality and contamination.
Assessment Written (2000 words): 20% + Examinations (2 hours): 50% +
Practical work: 30%
